Alan Zinkin has been named a director at EisnerAmper and will be responsible for creating strategic growth and maximizing business opportunities throughout Florida. He was a founding partner at Social Venture Partners Miami. Zinkin has a bachelor’s in finance from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in from The University of Chicago.

AnaMaria Correa has been named senior director of community engagement at Miami City Ballet. She was director of community engagement and inclusion at Avenues: The World School in New York. Correa has a bachelor’s in secondary education and literature from Hunter College and an MFA in acting from Brooklyn College.
Manuel Vecin joins Grove Bank & Trust as vice president and market manager serving the Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay markets. He was previously employed by Popular Community Bank where he was vice president and branch sales manager. Vecin has a bachelor’s of business administration from Florida International University.
Freddie Peterson has been named general manager of the Miami Beach Convention Center, which is operated by Spectra, and will start after Labor Day. He was an executive at the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority for two decades, where he held several positions, including deputy director. He has also been a contract administrator for the MassMutual Center and the Greater Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau and its sports commission for the past 2 1/2 years.
Thomas E. Burke has been named chief executive officer of ABB Optical Group in Coral Springs. He was previously CEO of Medical Specialties Distributors based in Massachusetts. Burke attended Salem State University.
Isaac Marcushamer has been named general counsel and managing director of Kaplan Residential, a residential real estate development company based in Miami and Atlanta. He was previously a partner with Berger Singerman. Marcushamer has a bachelor’s in economics and political science from the University of Toronto and a J.D. from Hofstra.
James D. Silver has joined Kelley Kronenberg as a partner in its Fort Lauderdale office. He previously led the bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice group at Conrad & Scherer. Silver, a Circuit Court mediator in Florida, has a bachelor’s from Arizona State University and a J.D. from the University of Miami.
Daniel Chardon was recently named chief technology officer for MyPark in Miami. He was formerly IT strategic partner at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. Chardon has a bachelor’s in computer and information sciences from the Florida Institute of Technology.

He also was on the boards of Hands On Miami, The 100 Black Men of South Florida and the Miami Dade County School Board Bond Advisory Committee, and was a member of the eMerge America’s steering committee.
