Tania Castroverde Moskalenko has been named executive director of the Miami City Ballet. She will assume the leadership role alongside Miami City Ballet Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez on Aug. 7. Moskalenko was most recently chief executive officer at Chicago’s Auditorium Theater.
COMMUNICATIONS/PUBLIC RELATIONS
Andi Phillips-Lopez has recently founded Andi Phillips Communications, LLC, which provides media relations, public relations consulting and broadcast field production services. She most recently was media director at Roar Media. Phillips-Lopez has a degree in broadcast journalism from Florida International University.
HEALTH
Dr. Michael A. Smith has been promoted to director of education at Life Extension, based in Fort Lauderdale. He was most recently senior health scientist at the company. A graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, he interned in internal medicine at the University of Utah and was a radiology resident at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
INSURANCE
Dr. Noel Molina has been named medical and providers relations director for Premier Assurance Group (PA Group), based in Coral Gables. He was previously the medical and providers relations director at Best Doctors Insurance. Molina has a bachelor’s degree in medical sciences from the University of Medical Sciences in Camagüey, Cuba. He received his medical degree with a specialization in family medicine from the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences in Ciego de Avila, Cuba.
REAL ESTATE
Todd Cohen is managing principal of TCC Advisors, a newly launched comprehensive brokerage firm. Cohen was managing director of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors, South Florida.
Rosie Zamanillo has been named director of development at RE/MAX Advance Realty (RMA), Miami’s largest RE/MAX agency. She was previously in a similar job for Keller Williams.
Miltiadis Kastanis has joined Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Miami Beach as director of luxury sales. He was previously with Compass.
TRANSPORTATION
At Brightline:
▪ Jeff Swiatek was named chief financial officer. He was at AIG in various senior roles.
▪ Ravneet Bhandari was named chief commercial officer; he was the CEO and co-founder of LodgIQ, a technology startup.
▪ Michael Cegelis was named executive vice president of infrastructure development. He was formerly senior vice president at American Bridge Company.
▪ Jeff Schappert was named senior vice president of technology. He was the marketing and sales business solutions officer at Amtrak
YOUTH PROGRAMS
Arlene Peterson has been named vice president of development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. She was previously communications manager for Legion of Christ College in Connecticut. Peterson has a bachelor’s in journalism and mass communications from Florida International University.

New position: Executive director of the Kendall Lakes Health and Rehabilitation Center, which is scheduled to open this fall.
From: Executive director for Greystone’s Wilton Manors Health and Rehabilitation Center.
About: Morfa will oversee all operational aspects of the facility, from patient care to new hires to quality assurance. The Kendall location is Greystone’s fourth health and rehabilitation center in South Florida and will have an array of medical services as well as specialized orthopedic, cardiac and stroke rehabilitation programs.
Education: Bachelor’s in healthcare administration with a concentration in gerontology from Florida Atlantic University.
