Chris Grier’s words at the NFL Scouting Combine proved prophetic.

The Dolphins general manager said the team would be “aggressive” in the offseason with more than $60 million in cap space. And a week after retaining the team’s top two free agents, tight end Mike Gesicki and defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah, and making a series of shrewd signings, Grier fully threw the Dolphins into the AFC arms race.

In the past 24 hours, the Dolphins have signed Terron Armstead, a three-time Pro Bowl left tackle, and traded for six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill, revamping an offense that ranked 22nd in scoring in 2021. Along with retaining the core of a defense that ended the past season as one of the NFL’s best units, the Dolphins have gone all-in on improving from a 9-8 finish and trying to make the postseason for the first time since 2016.

Weigh in on this poll to give your thoughts on the Dolphins’ 2022 offseason after signing Armstead and trading for Hill.
