The Dolphins trading for jet-like (but not New York Jets-like) wide receiver Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs had fans and followers of Miami’s NFL franchise dancing in the social media streets.
And a few others approving of the team in Miami Gardens giving up a bucket of draft picks for “The Cheetah,” one of the NFL’s fastest wide receivers and the premier deep threat over the past five years.
Local political activist Grant Stern Tweeted, “Now, I’m not just optimistic about next season [sic] just because I’m a Dolphins fan. Tyreek Hill is a Miami Dolphin. There is real hope!”

South Florida attorney Ben Reiss tweeted the entire deal as an example of what it truly means for the Dolphins to provide support and belief for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. “Now do you see the difference?”
Pro Football Focus clearly thought the combination of Hill and 2021 first-round pick Jaylen Waddle would send rival defensive backs into a depression.
Some fans couldn’t help but shout.
Tweets didn’t just come in English.
One Tweet by ESPN’s Field Yates, republished on Instagram summed up the last week of Tom Brady unretiring, quarterback Russell Wilson being traded from Seattle to Denver and Devante Adams leaving Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers arm for the Las Vegas Raiders.
