Miami Dolphins trade for Kansas City Chiefs star Tyreek Hill

The Dolphins have traded for Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill, making him the highest-paid receiver in NFL history. The blockbuster deal includes five draft picks.

The Miami Dolphins became the talk of Wednesday when they traded for wide receiver Tyreek Hill, according to various reports.

Hill’s move from Kansas City to South Beach brings the speedy receiver nicknamed the Cheetah to the Sunshine State with a reported four-year, $120 million contract that has $72.5 million guaranteed.

The Chiefs receive the No. 29 and No. 50 draft picks for 2022 and three additional picks in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Hill’s speed is well documented. He reportedly ran a 40-yard dash time of 4.29 seconds at his West Alabama pro day and recorded the fastest ball carrier speed since 2016 by NextGen Stats at 23.24 miles per hour in Week 2 of the 2016 season, the Washington Post reported.

And he’s had a highlight reel showcasing his electric speed, most recently in the AFC playoffs against the Buffalo Bills.
