The most explosive receiver in the NFL has been traded and people are freaking out.
Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro receiver Tyreek Hill has been traded to the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Chiefs are getting five draft picks in the trade, including a 2022 first-round pick (No. 29), a second-round pick (No. 50) and a fourth-round pick, and additional picks in the 2023 draft in the fourth and sixth rounds.
Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III summed up the sentiments of many Chiefs fans on social media when the news broke Tuesday morning.
“Please God No!!!!” Griffin posted on Twitter. “[Patrick] Mahomes and Tyreek are special together. The Jets and Dolphins would be instantly better with him but that connection in KC is must see tv.”
The Athletic’s Stephen Holder added: “The Chiefs without Tyreek Hill ain’t the Chiefs. I don’t understand this AT ALL.”
