Florida’s guitar hotel opened a rooftop bar where you can get tiki drinks and tacos

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has just about everything you want in an entertainment venue. Pools. A lagoon. Restaurants. Bars. Slot machines and poker tables. A spa, comedy club, a concert venue and a dayclub and nightclub. An amazing giant guitar hotel on which there are two light shows a night.

Now, it’s got something else: a rooftop bar.

Daer Nightclub and Dayclub, the entertainment concept at the hotel, has opened its third venue: Rooftop Live.

Perched above the top floor of Daer nightclub, the 10,000-square-foot space overlooks the lagoon and the Bora Bora cabanas. Plus you get a side view of the majestic guitar.

The cocktails will have a tiki theme - we love tiki themes - and will specialize in what it calls large-format cocktails. That means you should share or things are going to unravel swiftly. Look for the Tequila Miami, with tequila, cucumber jalapeno syrup and ginger beer or the Absolut Passion, with vodka, Aperol, passion fruit and watermelon juice.

There’s even a Freeze Pop, made from cherry vodka, grape vodka, melon liqueur, simple syrup and lime juice with a Pop Rocks rim.

And if you get hungry, no worries. A taco truck is in the corner, serving tacos and other Mexican bites.

And because music is the heart and soul of the guitar hotel, there will be live music, too.
