For the second time this season, the Miami Hurricanes are getting the “ESPN College GameDay” treatment.

This time, it’s in the playoffs.

Miami’s first-round College Football Playoff game at the Texas A&M Aggies on Dec. 20 (noon, ABC) will be one of the sites of ESPN’s travelling pregame show for the opening round of the 12-team playoff. The show will also be in Norman, Oklahoma, on Dec. 19 for the first-round matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Oklahoma Sooners.

This marks the second time a Hurricanes game this season is the site of College GameDay. The show was also in Coral Gables this year for Miami’s 26-7 win against the Florida Gators on Sept. 20.

It’s the first time the Hurricanes have played at a GameDay site multiple times in the same season since the COVID-impacted 2020 season when the show was on hand for three UM games: a win at Louisville, a home win against Florida State and a road loss at Clemson.

Overall, this will be Miami’s 27th time featured on College GameDay. The Hurricanes are 17-9 when the show is on site for one of their games, including 9-8 when either on the road or at a neutral site.

For Texas A&M, this is the ninth time the Aggies have hosted GameDay and the first since Aug. 31, 2024, for their home game against Notre Dame. Texas A&M, interestingly enough, is just 1-7 when hosting College GameDay.
