A pedestrian crossing West Broward Boulevard was struck and killed by a car Monday night.
Yolanda Walker, 45, crossing West Broward Boulevard in the 2900 block, was hit around 9:30 Monday night, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
When she reached the left lane of the westbound side of the street, a Hyundai Elantra driven by 22-year-old Mariana Thermy struck Walker. Thermy and her child passenger where taken to Broward Health Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Walker died at Broward Health.
Thermy’s driving record was previously pristine.
