Pedestrian killed at Miami Beach intersection
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a medical van Wednesday morning in Miami Beach.
Around 11 a.m., an MCCI Medical Group van struck and killed a pedestrian at the intersection of 41st and Sheridan Avenue. The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with police.
The area was shut down for about three hours as police investigated. The busy corridor runs from the ocean to the Julia Tuttle Causeway.
