Another precautionary boil water notice got issued Wednesday afternoon

dneal@MiamiHerald.com

Yet more water main repairs caused yet another precautionary boil water notice in Fort Lauderdale’s Cordova Road area.

The water main in question is an 8-incher at Cordova Road and Southeast Ninth Street. That puts all businesses and homes in the area of Cordova Road, Southeast Seventh Street, Southeast Eighth Street and Southeast Ninth Street under the boil water notice until at least Friday afternoon.

Bring tap water to a rolling boil for one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes.

Those in the area know the drill, having been under a boil water notice as recently as May 24.

Anyone with questions should call the City of Fort Lauderdale at 954-828-8000.
