The boil water notice that got reissued Monday has been lifted again

WEDNESDAY UPDATE: The notice has been lifted.

After finishing water main repairs Sunday night, the city of Fort Lauderdale reissued a precautionary water main notice on Monday.

The notice, first issued Thursday after the break at 5201 NE 24th Ter., then lifted Saturday, covers an area bounded by Federal Highway on the west, Northeast 54th Court on the north, Northeast 51st Street on the south and Northeast 25th Avenue on the east.

Tap water should be brought to a rolling boil for one minute before being used for drinking, cooking, washing dishes, brushing teeth or making ice. The notice will remain in effect until the water passes two consecutive days of testing.
