dneal@MiamiHerald.com

Another day, another water main break and precautionary boil water notice in Fort Lauderdale.

Until Friday night, buildings in an area bounded by Federal Highway on the west, Northeast 54th Court on the north, Northeast 51st Street on the south and Northeast 25th Avenue on the east should bring water to a rolling boil for a minute before using it for drinking, making ice, cooking, brushing teeth or washing dishes.

The city said emergency repairs on a six-inch water main near 5201 NE 24th Ter. also mean low water pressure or no water pressure for area buildings.

Those with questions can call 954-828-8000.
