What’s inside these Miami shipping containers? 20 new places to go crazy with photos

In Miami, you can never have too many places to take photos of yourself.

At least, that’s what the arrival of Euphoric Emporium seems to indicate.

Joining Miami’s other Instagram hotspots - like Unicorn Factory, Candytopia and the Museum of Illusions - the Euphoric Emporium uses shipping containers to create 20 interactive art installations. The installation is right off the Venetian Causeway on Bayshore Drive and 15th Street in downtown Miami.

Artis David Bozic designed the interactive murals on the outside of each shipping container. Inside, you can let your imagination run wild.

Example: You can take a photo of yourself inside a snow globe or in a room full of upside down furniture. We also have it on good authority one container involves blackjack-playing monkeys. We are so in.

As is apparently required by law, there is also a pit, ala the environmentally questionable sprinkle pool at the former Museum of Ice Cream or the marshmallows at Candytopia. In this case, it’s a “gumball pit,” even though you should definitely not put any of those gumballs in your mouth for a variety of reasons. We shouldn’t have to remind you.

Also important: there’s a full service bar at Euphoric Emporium, serving up cocktails like Off to Pandora (Tito’s vodka, raspberry liquor, cranberry and mint) and Blurred Limes (mezcal, tequila, agave, Cointreau, lemon and lime). Or maybe sip You’re a Sunflower on Ice (gin, Cointreau, elderflower St Germain, lemon and soda).

For better - or at least funnier - selfies, we recommend hitting the bar before you start taking photos.
