This Coral Gables steakhouse is a local favorite. Now it’s coming to Aventura

Aventura just nabbed a big-name steakhouse.

Ruth’s Chris recently signed a lease to move into Aventura ParkSquare, the live-work-play development north of the Aventura mall.

The restaurant will specialize in custom-aged steaks served on 500-degree plates, with family-style side dishes. Diners will also find seafood options, plus soups, salads, desserts and a wine and spirits menu with more than 200 labels, premium wines by the glass and specialty cocktails.

This will be the sixth Ruth’s Chris in South Florida; the others are in Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Palm Beach. There are more than 150 Ruth’s Chris restaurants worldwide.

“We are thrilled to welcome the iconic Ruth’s Chris to our already impressive lineup of restaurants,” said Victor Ballestas, principal of Integra Investments, in a press release. “Our goal all along has been to provide a wide-variety for the community so no matter what you are in the mood for, there is an option for everyone.”

Aventura ParkSquare - at 2920 NE 207th St. - is made up of 131 residences, retail space for restaurants and lounges and office space as well as a Marriott Aloft Hotel. The restaurants include Graziano’s, Casa d’Angelo, Bartaco, Delicious Raw and Ono Poke, which just opened last week.

Construction of Ruth’s Chris will begin later this year. It’s expected to open in early 2021.
