NFL Draft Day 3 live updates: Miami Dolphins have seven picks on final day

The final day of the 2026 NFL Draft is upon us — and the Miami Dolphins should be quite busy as first-year general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan rounds out his inaugural draft class.

Day 3 of the draft, which consists of Rounds 4-7, begins at noon Saturday.

The Dolphins enter the day with seven total picks to make after selecting six players over the first three rounds. Should that hold, Miami will have 13 rookies in its draft class.

But it’s more than just the Dolphins on this final day.

A handful of Miami Hurricanes could also get selected on Saturday after six of their teammates were drafted on Thursday and Friday.

Follow along here throughout the day as the Miami Herald keeps track of all the Dolphins and Hurricanes news as the draft comes to a close.

Hurricanes’ Keionte Scott to the Bucs in fourth round

In one season with the Miami Hurricanes, Keionte Scott went from being an uncertainty to being arguably one of the most important pieces to UM’s defense on its run to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

The defensive back’s efforts were also noticed in his draft stock rise.

On Saturday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted Scott in the fourth round with the No. 116 overall pick on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Scott is the second Hurricanes player selected by Tampa Bay this draft after the Buccaneers also took edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr. with the No. 15 overall pick on Thursday.
