Two matchups between top 10 nationally-ranked South Florida football teams. One in Fort Lauderdale. One in Las Vegas.
And another two state championships including the first-ever Dade vs. Broward finals.

Miami Herald Deputy Sports Editor Andre Fernandez and sportswriter David Wilson break down the matchups and talk about recruiting including interviews with three of the top players in South Florida in our latest episode.
In this week’s show:
▪ Fernandez and Wilson look at Chaminade’s Class 1M state championship win and look ahead to their big showdown in the GEICO State Champions Bowl Series on Saturday in Vegas against the home team - national powerhouse Bishop Gorman.
▪ Wilson interviews Miami Central’s Rueben Bain, who already has a school picked, is up for the Nat Moore Trophy (which honors South Florida’s best player) and plans to announce his decision this week...likely either Miami or Florida State. Bain also breaks down the matchup in the Class 2M final against Plantation American Heritage.
▪ Sportswriter Jordan McPherson brings you the Patriots’ side of the Heritage-Central matchup, speaking to their talented running back Mark Fletcher ahead of Friday’s game.
▪ Wilson also talks to St. Thomas Aquinas defensive back and Penn State commit Conrad Hussey about the Raiders’ Class 3M final on Thursday night against Homestead High, which will make its state finals debut in what will be Broncos’ coach Philip Simpson’s last game on the sideline.
▪ And we make our last round of predictions for the high school season for those three games and Columbus’ Class 4M clash with a familiar opponent - Apopka.
