Simini Walden’s two scores lead Hialeah-Miami Lakes to easy victory

Host Hialeah-Miami Lakes used 267 yards and a stingy defense to defeat Mourning, 36-0, on Friday night.

Trojans running back Simini Walden scored twice and collected 75 yards on seven carries.

Sheldon Whigham and Malik Shannon each recorded a rushing score as well.

In addition to a balanced rushing offense, the defense scored twice when linebacker Ruben Gonzalez earned a safety, and strong safety Rayvon Johnson took a fumble recovery 28 yards to make it 36-0.

For the Sharks, Jordan Alfred led the offense with 53 rushing yards.
