Titus Bennett’s pick seals victory for Edison Red Raiders

The Red Raiders (3-3, 0-1) were able to hang on despite a late rally by the Hi Tides (2-4, 0-2) Friday night at Curtis Park.

The first score of the game came on a 15-yard interception return by Edison's Robert Knowles. In the fourth quarter, Knowles came up with a key fumble recovery with 6:15 to play.

Eldridge Thomas led Edison with 129 rushing yards on 16 carries. Sophomore quarterback Malcolm Vigile passed for 45 yards and two touchdowns.

Miami Beach was led by Markel Anderson, who had a 99-yard kickoff return, 58 receiving yards and 21 rushing yards.
