QB Shawn Chandler powers Southridge to blowout of Krop

Quarterback Shawn Chandler passed for 213 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another score as No.19 Southridge rolled over Krop, 49-14, at North Miami Stadium.

Chandler hit Freddie Pinder, Rodney Scott and David Siqueiros on throws of 16, 36, 67 and 10 yards, respectively, as the Spartans went vertical. Southridge’s Roshard Phillips ran for 140 yards and two touchdowns.

Krop’s Robert Henderson scored on a 57-yard run with 3:13 left in the first quarter to tie the game at 7-7. Lightning senior Raekwon Hankerson gashed the Spartans on a 66-yard fake punt in the fourth quarter.

The Spartans (4-2) had 403 yards in total offense.
