Jake Bofshever leads Coral Springs Colts’ rally from 27-point hole
Coral Springs will springboard into the playoffs riding high as the host Colts (7-3) rallied from a 27-point deficit midway through the fourth, scoring 28 unanswered points in a seven-minute span in a thrilling regular-season finale against Cardinal Gibbons.
Jake Bofshever led the offense with 428 yards, finishing with a 29-of-39 night, including five touchdown passes in the 35-34 victory. Four of them came in the fourth quarter as Gibbons (6-4) built a 34-7 lead mostly on the running of Deon McIntosh (140 yards, 17 carries, two TDs).
The game-winner came with 23 seconds remaining when Bofshever threw to Ryan Ebbole for a 16-yard score.
