St. Thomas Aquinas seniors finish regular season in style

Jordan Scarlett and Deltron Sands were some of seniors for St. Thomas Aquinas (9-1, 5-0 District 8-6A) who were able to give a solid performance in the final regular-season game of their careers with a 45-7 win against Deerfield Beach (4-6) at Brian Piccolo Field.

Scarlett led all rushers with 74 yards and scored three touchdowns. Sands ran for 67 yards and scored a touchdown. Quarterback Jake Rizzo was effective as he threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns.

The Raiders begin their playoff run when they play host to Mater Academy on Friday.
