Michael Harris, Ronnie Hoggins help Monarch Knights stay undefeated

Michael Harris threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns while the defense had four takeaways, including three interceptions, as visiting Monarch beat District 11-8A opponent Deerfield Beach, 35-0.

The Knights (7-0, 4-0) scored on their first two possessions, capitalizing on a Bucks turnover in the game’s opening series, with Cavarri Morss scoring on a 6-yard run.

Harris completed 11 of 20 passes, including TD passes to Davis, Cavin Ridley and Brandon Pope.

Monarch cornerback Ronnie Hoggins picked off a pass late in the third quarter to add to his county-leading 10 interceptions.
