St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders post their third shutout victory in a row
St. Thomas Aquinas (5-1, 2-0) treated its fans on homecoming night with a 63-0 blowout over Northeast (1-5, 1-1). The Raiders shut out their opponent for the third week in a row and have won their past three games a combined 190-0.
Senior quarterback Jake Rizzo picked apart the Northeast defense in the first quarter for three touchdowns and 103 yards on three completions. Rizzo left the game at halftime with the Raiders up 49-0 a perfect 5 for 5 for 131 yards.
Senior running back and University of Miami commit Jordan Scarlett ran for two touchdowns and 101 yards on six carries, including a 55-yard touchdown in the middle of the second quarter.
