Poll: Who are your top Broward high school boys’ and girls’ bowlers for the 2022 season?
The 2022 high school bowling season featured many standout performances once again in Broward County.
The Miami Herald recently published its All-Broward Bowling team as well as its Bowlers and Coaches of the Year.
This week, the Herald is asking you to vote on who you think was the best overall of those players this season.
Below is a look at the players who earned first team honors this season. Take our poll below to cast your vote. The poll will be open until Monday, Jan. 16, around 10 p.m. The top boy and girl vote-getters will be declared the winners of this fan vote.

Here are the candidates:
BOYS
▪ Colin Boisvert, Archbishop McCarthy: Boisvert, a senior, averaged 202 for the season and finished 53rd at state.
▪ Cody Boisvert, Archbishop McCarthy: Boisvert, a sophomore, averaged 197 and finished 62nd at state.
▪ Evan Kallen, Taravella: Kallen averaged 173 for the season and finished 42nd at state - the highest among Broward bowlers.
▪ Cesar Medina, Taravella: Medina averaged 186 for the season and was the District 15 individual champion.
▪ Andres Molinary, West Broward: Molinary averaged 169 for the season and was a state individual qualifier.
▪ Dean Rothschild, Western: Rothschild averaged 180 for the season, was the District 15 individual runner-up and qualified for state.
GIRLS
▪ Alexandra Bishop, St. Thomas Aquinas: Bishop averaged 125 for the season.
▪ Isabella Brelage, Archbishop McCarthy: Brelage, a senior, averaged 124 for the season.
▪ Joss Collins, South Plantation: Collins averaged 148 for the season and placed 90th at state.
▪ Alexis Diaz, Coral Springs Charter: Diaz averaged 130 for the season, finished third in District 15 and was an individual state qualifier.
▪ Alyssa Metellus, Archbishop McCarthy: Metellus, a sophomore, averaged 169 for the season, placed a Broward-best 86th at state and was the District 15 runner-up.
▪ Kellie Monahan, Western: Monahan averaged 160 for the season, was the District 15 champion and finished 95th at state.
