Matthew Dominick is uniquely positioned to see the incredible magnitude of Hurricane Milton.

That’s because the NASA astronaut is viewing it from space.

Late Tuesday morning, Dominick shared a few videos from aboard the Dragon Endeavour, flying over the tiny eyed monster as it barreled toward Florida.

Expect more footage, he wrote on X, because this is where he is sleeping while they wait to undock from the International Space Station and return to Earth.

Followers were at once duly awed and unnerved by the “beautiful and scary” sight. One commented that Milton looked like the catastrophic superstorm in the 2004 disaster flick “The Day After Tomorrow.”

“Milton looks massive. Praying for the safety of all those who couldn’t evacuate.”

“Gotta be eerie staring at it in silence from above.”

“This is phenomenal! The vastness of the hurricane from space is absolutely staggering.”

“WOW.”

The National Hurricane Center’s latest advisory says Milton has winds at around 155 mph, close to Cat. 5 strength. It is expected to make landfall on the Gulf Coast near the Tampa Bay region “sometime after dark” on Wednesday.

Milton, with up to 15 feet of life-threatening storm surge, has the potential to be “one of the most destructive hurricanes on record for west-central Florida,” the NHC said.
