Florida is now in a battle with a popular Miami bar over its drag show and whether it’s appropriate for kids.

In the 69-page complaint Gov. Ron DeSantis administration filed against R House in Wynwood, the state compares the performances and outfits seen at the restaurant’s weekend drag show brunches to those found at strip clubs and adult nightclubs.

The complaint includes a copy of the R House’s kids menu and pages of screenshots of a Daily Mail article and videos of the performances that were found on Youtube and social media. Some of the screenshots show a drag queen who is wearing pasties and lingerie stuffed with dollar bills, walking with a little girl around R House.

The state says the restaurant is exposing children to “sexually explicit drag shows.” R House could lose its liquor license if its found to be in violation of local laws and codes.

TAKE OUR POLL: Should the state get involved with drag shows in Miami? Or is it a parent’s call?

“The nature of the performances described above, particularly when conducted in the presence of young children, corrupts the public morals and outrages the sense of public decency,” the complaint states.
