Gambler bets $25 on slot machine — then wins big jackpot at Connecticut casino
A lucky gambler turned a $25 bet into a big jackpot prize at a Connecticut casino.
Now the player is more than $211,000 richer.
The visitor won July 6 after sitting at a Dollar Storm slot machine at Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Sky, the casino said in a July 9 news release.
The guest bet $25, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared saying they had won $211,079.52.
That wasn’t the only recent win at the casino.
Another gambler playing the Railroad Riches slot machine on July 7 hit the $115,266.58 jackpot, the casino said in the release.
More recently, on July 9, a visitor won a massive jackpot prize of $2,018,742.30 while playing Spanish 21, a variation of blackjack.
Mohegan Sun is in Uncasville, which is about a 45-mile drive southeast from Hartford.
