A poker player walked away from a Las Vegas casino with a big prize.

The lucky gambler sat at a Pai Gow poker table at Durango Casino & Resort, the casino said in a July 7 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The player then revealed a seven-card straight flush, one of the rarest hands in the game.

Thanks to their winning hand, the gambler won the $115,742 jackpot.

“Best way to start your week? Winning $115,742 on a 7-card straight flush playing Pai Gow,” the casino said in the post.

The poker player’s winning cards were an ace, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and a joker acting as a 3.

A straight flush is one of the rarest hands in the game, after a royal flush, according to Upswing Poker.

To get a straight flush, a player needs to get cards in consecutive order and in the same suit.

The Durango Casino & Resort is about a 10-mile drive southwest from the Las Vegas Strip.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
