A poker player won a big jackpot prize at a California casino, thanks to a rare hand.

The gambler from Olivehurst sat at a Face Up Pai Gow poker table June 30 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento, the casino said in a news release.

At one point, she revealed a seven-card straight flush, winning the $368,021 jackpot.

The casino said the woman placed a $5 bet when she won.

Her winning cards were an ace, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and a joker acting as a 3, all in clubs, according to the casino.

A straight flush is one of the rarest hands in the game, after a royal flush, according to Upswing Poker.

To get a straight flush, a player needs to get cards in consecutive order and in the same suit.

This wasn’t the only player to win big at the casino recently.

In June, a gambler bet $5 on a Dragon Link slot machine and won $189,808, McClatchy News reported.

The casino is in Wheatland, which is about a 40-mile drive north from Sacramento.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
