A stop at a North Georgia gas station led to a huge win for one lucky lottery player.

The Ringgold resident hit the jackpot, winning $2 million on a $20 Hot 777 scratch-off game sold at an Exxon station on U.S. Highway 41 in Ringgold, the Georgia Lottery said.

The lucky player beat odds of 1-in-1,360,000 to take the top prize, according to the lottery’s website.

It’s the latest big lottery win for the Peach State after a Blairsville resident won $1 million on a 2nd Edition Billionaire Club scratch-off ticket, the lottery said.

That player claimed their prize March 20 and chose the lump sum option, taking home $535,398.06.

Winners in Georgia have 90 days from the expiration date to claim prizes on instant games and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, the Georgia Lottery said.
