‘Squid Game but it’s in Ohio.’ Zillow Gone Wild is befuddled by this mansion. See why
A mansion on the real estate market in Powell, Ohio, for $4.95 million has some folks scratching their heads on a popular real estate social media page.
The five-bedroom, nine-bathroom appears to be a pinnacle of elegance in terms of having all the bells and whistles associated with luxury and is referred to as an “entertainer’s paradise” by the listing on Zillow.com.
Features across the residence’s 14,500 square feet include:
Six car garage
Three balconies
Saltwater pool
Basketball/tennis court
Gym
Steam room
Theater
While all the features are top notch, fans of Zillow Gone Wild say it’s lacking a little something — warmth.
“Honestly feels like a safe house compound where they added a few windows to not draw too much suspicion,” one person on Facebook said.
“I’ve seen medical facilities with more warmth,” another compared.
“House or car dealership?” someone asked.
“How to be modern and dated at the same time. It’s a showcase of the most bland trends of the 2010s,” one person said.
“I was hoping the inside did not match the outside …it’s stark and sterile, and would benefit from some color and warmth,” someone commented.
“Welcome to Jiffy Lube!” another joked.
“‘Squid Game’ but it’s in Ohio,” one person tweeted.
“This isn’t a home, this is the state house,” another said.
“Hmm... This seems like a home if Stanley Kubrick was (an) architect,” someone noted.
Powell is about 20 miles northwest of Columbus.
