He invited the woman he met on a dating app to his home. Cops say she came with friends

A Miramar man’s late night call for company brought more company — and bullets — than he anticipated, Miramar police said.

Police say around 3:20 a.m. Wednesday, the Miramar resident was hanging out with a friend invited over a woman whom he met on a dating app. Not long after she got to the home in the 2900 block of Southwest 120th Terrace, two male cohorts arrived with at least one firearm, turning the date into a home invasion.

They proceeded to shoot one of the men in the house (non-life threatening gunshot wound) and inflict injuries on the other man that were treated at the scene. They chose to have their identities kept confidential, per Marsy’s Law.

The woman and the two living space invaders skedaddled.
