A man and a woman were shot late Tuesday night outside a North Miami apartment building — the same building where a security guard was killed in his guard shack on Jan. 28.
Police described the shooting as a driveby involving several shooters. Investigators are looking for two cars, a silver older-model Nissan Altima and a black Pontiac Grand Prix.
They identified the woman as 24-year-old Rebecca Bien-Aime, shot in the leg, and the man as 23-year-old Gerdson Lubin, shot in the arm. Both were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, though Lubin remained there under observation.
Police aren’t sure whether the victims were targeted. Gunfire also blew out the windows in the building’s lobby.

The shooting at the Center Court Apartments, 14895 NE 18th Ave., was at least the second bloody incident there in the past two months. On Jan. 28, security guard Vinel L’Amour was found shot and killed inside his security booth at the complex.
L’Amour, 30, had gone to work at 11 p.m., and his body was found at 1 a.m. His family lives in the apartment building.
Several days later, North Miami police arrested Louby Joseph, 21, in the shooting death and charged him with first-degree murder.
