Gas prices have been soaring since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and it impacts all of us. Here is how high it can get, and some tips on how to deal with the pain at the pump.


How high will it go?

The price of gas is going up again in Florida. Stand in front of an electronic sign long enough and the numbers might tick up before your eyes.

But is there anything you can do to save some money now?

Some stations are cheaper than others. But how do you find them? You certainly don’t want to drive around and burn gas (and money).

One favorite way is GasBuddy. So what is it?

Gasbuddy is a free app and website (www.gasbuddy.com) that lets you sort gas stations by price, distance, fuel type, payment method and ratings. The crowdsourcing app lets users report gas prices in real-time.

The app can tell you the average reported gas price in your area, including the lowest and highest cost. It can give directions to gas stations in case you want to travel across town to find some cheaper fuel.
