A COVID-19 testing site opens Monday at a Walmart near Hialeah. But before you go...
Three-day-a-week drive-up COVID-19 testing begins Monday morning at the Walmart between Hialeah and Miami’s Liberty City, but there are a few things you need to know before planning to go:
▪ Testing will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
▪ This is a drive-up only site, in the Walmart parking lot at 3200 NW 79th St., not inside the Walmart itself.
▪ This isn’t an all-comers site, but for those exhibiting signs of being infected by the novel coronavirus, healthcare providers and first responders.
▪ You need to make an appointment through Quest Diagnostics’ website or app, through which screening will be done.
▪ You need to wear a mask when you roll up for testing.
