▪ The digital media company Bisnow will host the free webinar “South Florida Update” from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The discussion will focus on how activity with e-commerce has impacted industrial real estate, expectations for land prices and what sub-markets in South Florida are seeing the most demand for industrial space. ▪ Friends of the Underline is hosting the free webinar “Miami Voices Green, Together” from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Speakers will discuss how green space can make a city more resilient to climate change. Miami-Dade Commissioner Dennis Moss, Fort Lauderdale-based Calvin, Giordano & Associates Director of Landscape Architecture Design and Urbanism Gianno Feoli and City of Miami Resilience Programs Manager Alissa Farina will participate in the discussion. ▪ The D.C.-based nonprofit Urban Land Institute will host the free webinar “Confronting Covid-19: City Preparedness for Climate Events” from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The speakers will discuss resiliency and disaster relief amid the pandemic, including for disadvantaged communities. Panelists include Jeff Hebert, partner at the D.C.-based real estate consulting firm HR&A; Braden Kay, director of sustainability for Arizona’s City of Tempe; and Chauncia Willis, co-founder and CEO of the Atlanta-based Institute for Diversity and Inclusion in Emergency Management.
