July 15

Friends of the Underline, the nonprofit behind the 10-mile linear park running under the Metrorail from Downtown Miami to Dadeland South Station, will host the free webinar “Miami Voices Equity, Together” from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Arturo Nunez, founder of AIE Creative and Friends of the Underline board member, will moderate the discussion between Lilly Weinberg, director of community foundations of the Knight Foundation, and Michael Finney, president and CEO of Miami-Dade Beacon Council. Weinberg and Finney will discuss how access to public spaces in South Florida has changed since the pandemic. The talk is part of the nonprofit’s weekly series Miami Voices — discussions with local leaders about how the South Florida community has changed since COVID-19. RSVP here.

The Miami Lakes-based Commercial Real Estate Women will host the free webinar “Going back to bed: The re-opening of hospitality and medical facilities in South Florida” from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The yet-to-be announced panelists will discuss market conditions for hotel acquisitions, homestay lodging and healthcare real estate.
