Talks this week check in on condo associations and commercial real estate as the South Florida economy continues to re-open.
June 8
▪ The D.C.-based nonprofit Urban Land Institute will host the webinar “Why experience is the next big office amenity” from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tom Larance, the head of JLL experience management nationwide, will moderate the discussion between Annie Bergeron, a principal and design director at the San Francisco-headquartered architecture firm Gensler and Jonathan McLaurin, the senior director at the San Antonio commercial real estate investment and redevelopment agency USAA Real Estate. ▪ The Miami Beach-based condo property management firm Campbell will host the free webinar “Q&A for community associations — Miami-Dade County re-opening” from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. A Campbell representative will moderate the discussion including a Siegfried Rivera lawyer and Florida Sen. Jason Pizzo. Talking points include re-opening requirements and safety measures for pools, tennis courts, gyms and beaches. RSVP here.

▪ The South Florida branch of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties will host the free webinar “Drilling down: How is the market behaving post-phase one reopening?” from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Commercial real estate brokers and executives will lean in on leasing, rent, lending and development activity.
