▪ The Urban Land Institute, headquartered in D.C., will host the free webinar “Confronting COVID-19: Healthy buildings — optimizing mental health” from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health assistant professor Joseph Allen, Joanna Frank of the New York City-based nonprofit Center for Active Design and Elizabeth Shreeve, principal of the award-winning, Los Angeles-based landscape firm SWA Group will discuss how multifamily projects can and are building environments to optimize mental health. ▪ The New York City-based commercial real estate media company Bisnow will host the free webinar “Impact of COVID-19 on South Florida and the CRE market” from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Avra Jain, the chief executive officer of the MiMo-based adaptive reuse consultancy firm Vagabond Group, and Scott Sherman, co-founder of the Brickell-based commercial property management firm Tricera Capital, will discuss the impact thus far of COVID-19 onto the Miami market.
