Commercial real estate leaders talk about the 2020 South Florida market this week

Commercial real estate leaders in Broward County talk about the health of the market and predictions for 2020.

Jan. 28: The Miami Association of Realtors will host the webinar “Adjusting to the Zillow World” from 10 a.m. to noon. Mark Weithorn, a Realtor and instructor for the organization for 15 years, will lead the online course and discussion from the organization’s West Broward location at 13680 NW 14th St. The course will provide tips on how Realtors can list their single-family homes and condos on Zillow as well as remain competitive in an evolving industry. Members can access the event for free; nonmembers pay $25. RSVP here.

Jan. 29: The South Florida chapter of the commercial real estate agency NAIOP will host “Economic Outlook 2020: Still Navigating Uncertainty” from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at 550 South Andrews Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. The moderator Darcie Lunsford, executive vice president of Butters Realty & Management, will lead the discussion of international and domestic political and economic factors that may influence the retail, office and industrial local market. Speakers include Link Industrial Properties Managing Director Clifton H. Coffey, Duke Realty VP of Leasing and Development Stephanie Rodriguez and Wells Fargo Managing Director Mark Vitner.
