A former Miami Dolphins linebacker and defensive end listed his home on the market for $1.149 million on Wednesday.

By Monday, the football player had a closing pending.

Kim ‘Bo’ Bokamper will soon say goodbye to his four-bedroom, three-bathroom house at 301 NW 127th Ave. The 3,720-square-foot home in Plantation sits in the gated Lago Mar Country Club community. The listing agent Dondi Hopkins of the Hopkins Team, Compass Florida represented the seller, and Reinaldo D. Hernández from Real Fit Realty LLC represented the undisclosed buyer.

“The contract has not closed yet,” Hopkins said. “It will close by January. The house is pending inspection.”

The move-in ready condition of the house was a selling point, Hopkins said. Bokamper purchased the home in 1988 for $418,500. He has since remodeled the entire house.

The gated community and country club also appealed to the buyer.

“The buyer is interested in raising his one-year-old child there and growing his family,” Hopkins said.

The sale is pending for over $1.1 million, according to Hopkins.

The house was listed higher than the most recent comparable sale at about $308 per square foot. The 5,069-square-foot house at 131 NW 127th Ave. sold for about $216 per square foot in July.

Bokamper played for the Miami Dolphins for nine years starting in 1976. He played in two SuperBowls with the team. Now, he plans to move to downtown Fort Lauderdale, Hopkins said, to be closer to his two restaurants — Bokampers and The Balcony.
