Hey, foodies: We’re on the hunt for Miami’s favorite new restaurant. Tell us your top spot
In Miami, new restaurants open constantly, popping up on every corner, in every hotel, in every strip mall from Aventura to Homestead.
Some are good. Some are bad. Many reside in that purgatory between unremarkable and perfectly OK.
But what we want to know is: What’s your favorite new restaurant in the Miami area?
And it doesn’t have to be in Miami. It can be in Coral Gables, South Beach, Coconut Grove or Miami Gardens. The only requirement is that it’s new (opened within the past 12 months), you’ve been there and you can vouch for the fact that anyone who eats there stands a good chance of ending up satisfied. Also, no big chain openings will be counted. We know everyone likes them, but we want to focus on smaller restaurant groups and local owners.
Write in your favorite new restaurant and we will make the top 16 face off in another one of our dining brackets. Last month we rounded up all of Miami’s favorite purveyors of delicious croquetas and crowned CAO Bakery the winner.
If you need inspiration, check out our list of new restaurants. Let’s see which new restaurants Miami is loving!
