A place where baseball legend David Ortiz lay his head can be your home base — for a price — $11.495 million.

The beloved slugger known as Big Papi built this contemporary estate, located in the Pinecrest area of Miami-Dade County, from scratch.

The Hall of Famer purchased the vacant lot with his wife, Tiffany, in 2016 for $1.5 million after announcing his retirement, and completed it three years later.

Ortiz sold the house in 2023 for $10.5M, a record as the priciest sale ever in the area at the time. A source familiar with the situation told Miami.com the reason the MLB legend unloaded this real estate gem was that he was “downsizing.” The timing also coincided with finalizing his drawn-out divorce from ex wife, Tiffany.

The current owner, whose identity was not disclosed, is rumored to be a Red Sox fan.

This two-story, five-bedroom, eight-bathroom sanctuary isn’t lacking in space inside — 10,000 square feet plus — or out. Set on over an acre of land, the lush property is a perfect spot to throw a few balls around.

Amenities include floor-to-ceiling glass windows, resort-like pool, elevator, three-car garage, movie theater and, naturally, a lounge with TV screens galore “sure to impress any sports enthusiast,” reads the description.

Dennis Carvajal with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty has the listing.
