Hours before his first Miami Dolphins game of the season on Sunday, Tyreek Hill was detained by Miami-Dade police over a traffic incident, just a block from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The wide receiver was seen in video lying face down on the ground, handcuffed, as four officers stood over him.

The scene plays out with Hill’s luxury dark-colored car — the butterfly door up — in the background.

So what kind of supercar was “Cheetah” driving?

Matt Cruz, owner of MVP Miami car rentals, confirmed to the Miami Herald that the wheels were a McLaren 720S. It’s unclear whether the 30-year-old wide receiver owns or was renting this beauty, which can run about $350,000.

But in a past viral video, he is seen attempting to jump over a similar looking model.

Cruz saw Sunday’s video and agreed that the McLaren is an attention-grabber, and not “a subtle flex.”

“It’s very big and very impressive with a big wow factor,” he said. “You can’t help but stare at it.”

According to the British automotive manufacturer, the “apex predator” is capable of going from 0-to-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest on the road. It maxes out at about 212 mph.

You can also hear this sleek coupe coming from a pretty good distance, as evidenced in one used in Drake’s video for his 2023 song “Another Late Night.”

“It has a decent sounding engine,” said Cruz, who rents this lean, mean machine for about $1,200 a day. “It can be loud.”

Hill was allegedly pulled over for speeding, but told reporters after the game he “had no idea” why the situation escalated.

The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating the traffic stop; one of the four officers involved has since been placed on administrative duty.
