By now, after the movie and the new(ish) album and the endless clips on social media, you have realized it you’re ready for it.
On Friday, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour arrives at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens for three sold-out nights. This is the first time Swift has performed in the Miami area since her 2018 “Reputation” tour, also at Hard Rock.
Not surprisingly, there are rules about who can enter the parking lots, who can tailgate and what you can bring. Here’s what you need to know before you go (or if you still want to go and don’t mind flexing your credit card).
What’s Miami’s weather going be like during the weekend of the concerts?
South Florida woke up to an overcast Friday, the opening night for Swift at the Hard Rock. But rain chances remain relatively low, according to the National Weather Service in Miami. The forecast calls for a cloudy and windy Friday with a 30% chance of rain, mostly after 5 p.m. and into the night. But hold on to your hair: A northeast wind will blow up to 22 mph and wind gusts as high as 33 mph. Rain isn’t expected for Saturday or Sunday, but windy conditions will continue.

Can I still get tickets?
Yes, but be prepared to pay through the nose and be careful of scams.

When do the gates open?
Concerts are Friday-Sunday and parking gates will open at 3:30 p.m. each concert day.
Stadium gates will open at 4:30 p.m. each day.
A valid ticket for that night’s show will be required to enter parking gates and stadium gates.
What about fans who don’t have tickets? Can they show up and hang out in the parking lot?
Here’s what Hard Rock has to say about ticketless fans and traditional tailgating — which will be permitted.
Tay-gating: There are no listening areas outside the stadium for people without concert tickets. Fans without tickets will not be permitted to gather anywhere around or outside Hard Rock Stadium to listen to the concert.
Tailgating: Tailgating is permitted in the Hard Rock Stadium parking lots only for fans with a prepaid parking pass and valid concert ticket for that same night. Police and stadium security will patrol the parking lots and instruct fans without concert tickets to leave stadium property.
What’s up with security?
Fans should expect multiple security check points in order to enter the concert. Your ticket will be scanned more than once to enter the stadium, either as you enter the property in a vehicle with a prepaid parking pass or as a pedestrian if you arrive via ride share or another method of transportation. .

What can I bring to the Taylor Swift concert?
The only bags allowed in the Hard Rock Stadium for the concert are clear plastic bags that do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or small bags that do not exceed 4.5 by 6.5 inches.
We have a list of items that are prohibited, and you should read through it because some things might surprise you (like seat cushions unless there’s a medical need).

Should I Uber or should I pay for parking?
Before worrying about parking, the first question is this: Do you have a concert ticket?
Pre-paid parking passes can only be purchased in advance by concert ticket holders for the date that matches their concert ticket. For example, if you’re going to night one, you have to buy a parking pass for night one. Fans cannot purchase parking passes on site the day of the concert.
If you’re taking a rideshare app like Uber to get to the stadium, the designated drop-off location is Lot 30 on NW 37th Ave. Be warned: The walk from Lot 30 to the stadium is at least 30 minutes. Expect surge pricing and extended wait times.

What if I want merch but don’t want to carry it around the concert?
You are in luck. The Eras merch store opens two days before the show. So if you have time and want to stock up on the official merchandise, you can head to the Hard Rock Wednesday and Thursday to shop.
No ticket is required for entry on the two days before the concerts begin. Enter through Parking Gate 2. Open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday.
