‘Trust me. I won’t stop’: Kanye West just did a really disgusting thing on Twitter
That’s not very presidential behavior.
We’re talking about Kanye West, whose actions on Twitter are getting him in all kinds of social media trouble.
Exhibit A: The Wednesday night video of him urinating over a Grammy in the toilet. At least we think it was him; mercifully, we only could see a stream, not a body part.
It’s unclear if the award was his (he has racked up 21), or if the liquid was actually pee. Regardless, no one wants to see that.
Shortly thereafter, West, who is infamous for his late night cryptic Tweets, got into some, um, hot water on the social media channel. But ironically, not over the toilet clip, which is still out there for public consumption. The caption: “Trust me. I won’t stop.” Please do.
So why did West end up in Twitter purgatory for 12 hours? Among his other myriad posts, he reportedly Tweeted out the private cellphone number of a Forbes editor, Randall Lane.
West may have had an issue with an article Lane wrote about the hip hopper’s misguided presidential ambitions.
“If any of my fans want to call a white supremacist … this is the editor of Forbes,” West wrote along with a screenshot of the journalist’s digits, which were later removed.
Early Friday, West was back in full force, Tweeting “Artists are founders,” with no context.
All we can say is: Thanks for not showing us your bathroom again, Ye.
