How did Larsa Pippen end up in the Kanye West Twitter mess? Good question
Larsa Pippen is taking the high road, bless her heart.
The one time “Real Housewives of Miami” star has somehow found herself embroiled in the recent Kanye West situation.
The rapper, for those who live without access to Wifi, has been melting down on Twitter about his famous wife Kim Kardashian as well as her famous mom Kris Jenner and the Calabasas-based family in general.
While Kardashian shockingly obliterated her Twitter account, the reality star did put out a statement on Instagram saying that West is suffering a bipolar episode and hopes that fans will give them the privacy they need to cope and heal.
In recent nighttime rants, West has also been dropping names with no explanation, though many commenters have tried to decipher the Kanye code. Pippen happened to be among those names, though that particular post, which plainly said, “Larsa,” was later deleted. Why? We honestly don’t have a clue.
To the average person, Scottie Pippen’s ex wife and Kim seemed to be close, spending time together in bandage dresses while gallivanting around South Florida in Before Times. The last time the two were seen together here was in 2018, out at Komodo.
Now we hear that (shocker) Kim unfollowed her photogenic pal; Pippen does not appear to be following the SKIMS founder, either.
People with way too much time on their hands in quarantine figured this sitch out, not us here at Miami.com, mind you.
Page Six reports Kardashian never actually followed Pippen in the first place, because the 47-year-old mother of four is not in their inner circle. Hmmm.
But as we said, Pippen is nonplussed, and we could all have a lot to learn from her reaction, which is to have no reaction at all.
“I woke up this morning blessed and see that everybody is focused on who I am following and who I am not following on social media,” said her Instagram Stories, still up Thursday. “I am focused on my children, my new fitness brand Larsapippenfitness, and my relationships in real life. Praying that everybody finds peace in their own lives and focus on what brings THEM happiness.”
Phew, at last, an adult in the room. Even if the room is the Internet.
Prayers up for Kanye, though.
As for Kim and Larsa, the two did have a teensy tiny beef, or so we heard, last year when there was a rumor floating around that Pippen had stepped out with Kris Humphries, Kardashian’s ex husband.
Pippen denied it and they moved right along. Until now. Sigh.
