2023 is already proving itself to be the year of live music. Between Beyonce, Drake, Bryson Tiller and more going on tour, along with mainstay festivals such as Dreamville Festival, Essence Fest and Lollapalooza, it seems like there’s too many shows and not enough coin to go around. If this year’s Coachella didn’t end up making it onto your 2023 concert and festival circuit, no need to worry. The popular music festival, held in Indio, California, will be livestreamed.

The festival has been streamed for at-home viewers in the past, but Variety reports that 2023 marks the first year that Coachella will be live via YouTube across all six stages for both weekends. This isn’t the first time that the video-sharing platform has launched new festival experiences for Coachella. For the 2022 festival, YouTube introduced new “integration of YouTube Shorts and Creator activations, pre-parties, and merch purchasing options,” notes Variety. Exclusive behind-the-scenes content will also continue this year from artists and creators including Blackpink and Amelia DiMoldenberg of Chicken Shop Date.

The first weekend of Coachella is April 14-16, with weekend two following on April 21-23. Streams for both weekends will start at 4 p.m. PT. For fans unable to catch the livestreams in real-time, performances will still be available to watch after the stream while highly-anticipated acts will be available to watch on demand.

The festival lineup was announced in January and features a variety of international artists. Blackpink, who are South Korean, and Bad Bunny, who is Puerto Rican, are headlining, as well as Frank Ocean. Burna Boy and Rosalia, who represent Nigeria and Spain, respectively, will also add to Coachella’s international artist roster. Metro Boomin, Kaytranada, Pusha T, Earthgang, Latto, Flo Milli and more are also part of the festival’s lineup.

If you can’t resist adding another live music experience to your list, weekend one passes are sold out, but are available on resale sites.
