Waters off Miami-Dade beaches are officially clean enough for swimming

It’s safe to go back into the water, at least in a bacterial sense.

No precautionary swimming advisories from the Department of Health remain in Miami-Dade County.

All the advisories in Miami-Dade issued after Hurricane Irma, save Key Biscayne Beach Club, Oleta State Park and Cape Florida State Park, were eliminated Friday. The advisories on those three remaining places were lifted Saturday.
